[photo-3d] Re: Digital and photo-3d

Hi John
Im glad you mentioned the interest in digital 3d,although 
im interested in all forms of 3d,digital is my passion at the 
moment.I to was thinking about a twin rig,but the same problem
came up with my nikon 990,while i was making some beamsplitters
i noticed even though i had set up the camera with a spirit level,
and done the same with the base on which to build the splitter
the image through the prism would not line up properly.
This happened on all ocasions, which led to the same conclusion
that the body of the camera is not quite lined up with the lens
or the sensor.Even after all the problems i am still glad that i built
the splitters,they have worked very well and for the moment saved the 
cost of another nikon.(Still like to try it if i can find the cash).
