I agree. We do have a sell-3d list and if you are posting company
information you are advertising. If a company opens and closes or
relocates or whatever, perhaps it is valid to post info here because
people do order items from these concerns and might not be on the Sell-3d
list. 

On the other hand, if someone can post their company information then so
should everyone else. The P3D list then becomes a partial Sell3d list
which is not wanted. If someone is going to run a company then perhaps
they should take it upon themselves to either send e-mail or a postcard
or letter to their customers alerting them to the changes.

Could the Moderator chime in here and clarify?
