Mark,

I use mine with an Olympus 50mm f/1.8, and it works very well.
The biggest problem is mismatched action shots because of the
horizontal running shutter, but I don't shoot a lot of action.
I wanted to try telephoto, so I used my Olympus 85mm f/2. Coverage
was fine, but the two halves of the stereo pair didn't match.
That's why I'm working on the Franka with front surface mirrors,
and cutting away the sides of the housing so I can toe the mirrors
out for telephoto. I tried my Stereo-tach splitter, which is very
similar, with the Olympus 40mm f/2, and coverage was insufficient--
there were crazy extra images on either side. IIRC the Pentax
instructions say 55mm is good too. I've thought of using the Pentax
splitter on a Pentax SLR with vertical-running shutter (to handle
action shots correctly) and a Pentax lens, thinking it might be
ideal, but can't afford just to go out and buy one to try it! :-\
