Yes. How do your scans compare with using a slide duplicating tube on a
35mm camera? I currently have an Acer 620ST which has the lighted top
for scanning transparencies. I've been disappointed in the slide scans
I've done as they look slightly out of focus. I have compared a scan of
a Realist slide with the film dupe and the film dupe is crisp & clear
while the scan was somewhat fuzzy. A scan of the duped picture renders
a crisp scanned photo though.

So, have you compared the scans you do with prints you've had made? Can
you get clear 4x6 photo quality print if you scan a negative? Have you
scanned a print and the negative and compared the quality between the
two? Inquiring minds want to know! I'm quite dissatisfied with my
current scanner when it comes to negative/slide scanning.
