This reply should probably be a personal note to Jon Golden, but I am
curious as to whether others concur.
I get the impression, that before designing anything, the RBT people first
examined existing equipment for drawbacks, and then made sure that these
flaws were not repeated in anything with the RBT label. I also think that
they listened very carefully to the compliments and complaints that many
users had of existing equipment, and decided to build equipment that would
be more user friendly than what was formerly available. I love the RBT
mounts (the only RBT product that I can currently afford). I hope that
someday I can own an RBT camera and (really wishful thinking) an RBT
projector as well.
