Monte,
A web ring is a collection of web sites grouped together by a common
interest or topic. The members of this list who have web sites would
probably generate a fantastic web ring.

In theory, each member of the ring has signed up to be included in the
chain. If I remember correctly, when you sign up you're entered into a
database type list that keeps track of what position you hold in the
ring, that is, your web site and who's "left" and "right" of you.

The icon to traverse the ring needs to be on the initial page that is
displayed for the ring. This is so the person browsing can move on to
the next site or back to the previous site. Usually there's a link to
the ring "control" site so a person can view all the links related to
the web ring.

With the plethora of 3D sites out there totally unrelated to 3D
photography, I could see how a generic 3D ring could rapidly become
unwieldy. I'd love to see a photo-3d web ring comprised exclusively of
web sites maintained by the members of this list!

HTH,
Ron
