[photo-3d] Camera sync

I've enjoyed and benefitted from the discussions on syncing two cameras.  I 
currently have two OM-1s with winders synced with a common electrical 
trigger--very simple and pretty accurate.  The problem I would like to deal 
with now is finding a way to hold this rig level when hand-holding shots.  
I'm thinking of buying a small level (like that used for levelling chalk 
lines) and maybe a small view finder which I would mount in between the two 
cameras.  Am I overlooking an obvious solution???  Any thoughts on this would 
be most appreciated.
