Ray Zone responds:
I have to offer a word in defense of John Dennis and the NSA in general.
Does everyone on this list understand that as editor of Stereo World John
Dennis is paid no money for the many hours he puts into this world class
magazine? If anyone has a problem with John's delivery schedule I suggest
that they attempt to put out as fine a magazine in their free time after
coming home from a full time job.
Mr. Rubin, do you understand that the National Stereoscopic Association is
an amateur group of like-minded hobbyists who are doing their very best to
keep a relatively complex organization on track? Do you know that MOST of
the vendors at the NSA Conventions have other full-time jobs by which they
earn their livings and that the 3-D products they sell are primarily offered
as a service and a labor of love?
As a convention attendee, one is free to attend either slide programs or the
trade fair. Convention organizers always do their best to accomodate as
many people as possible and there is no bias toward any one group. NSA
conventions have now grown to the point where one may selectively have to
choose how they spend their time when attending one.
