You have to remember that workshops is something new.
Just a few years ago we only had Stereo Theater on
Friday and Trade Show on Saturday and Sunday.

Two days of Trade Show is really too much for most
people, so having workshops during this time, plus
some Stereo Theater, is a good idea.

I agree with Gary that Friday is not a good time for
workshops. Personally, I am conducting 3 workshops
and have asked to be scheduled on Saturday and Sunday.
Even though I have tables at the Trade Show, I will
cover the tables and go to do my workshops.

The idea that you go to the workshops first, to learn,
then go to the shows to see what you have learned
in action and then go to the trade show to buy the
equipment you need to apply what you've learned
and saw, is an interesting one... But things don't
come in perfect order in life. :)

The bulk of the trade show remains focused on
collectibles rather than equipment. NSA started
as a stereoview collector's association.

The NSA conventions remain a big celebration
of stereo imaging. A must-attend event. And rumor
has it that your very first NSA convention is always
the best!
