Dear Sell-3d Group,
Seems as though I was partly instrumental in sparking the latest group of 
opinions pro vs con about eBay by noting here a few days back that I had 
listed a Realist Companion Set on eBay. First of all I want to say that I 
had never before used this venue to try to tout my auctions. My specialty 
is stereo view cards and we have sold a number on eBay as our 224 feedback 
level would indicate. I like to think that we accurately describe them and 
are honest and are not rip-off artists. But I digress, I am auctioning the 
Companion Set for my brother-in-law who had the good fortune to have a 
relative who purchased in the 1950's and never used it. In my years of 
dealing stereo view cards I have never seen one of these so have only a 
vague idea as to what it might be worth. Since there are a lot of camera 
enthusiasts here I mentioned the auction as a service since I assumed that 
some folks here would really want to know about it and I do know enough 
about it to know that it is quite rare. Frankly, if it goes for $500 or 
$1000 it will make no difference to me, of course my brother-in-law would 
prefer the latter.
