But isn't a beginner most likely to blindley
follow what the spreadsheet says (large stereo
base to try to get 1.2mm OFD)? Only when they
get their film back and try to mount it will they
discover that they have to put their mega-depth
macro into 5p or 4p mounts instead of the 7 perf
they planned on.
So I think an addional output that shows the
"usable image width" would be a great addition.
Beside that could be some fixed numbers that show
the width of 7p, 5p and 4perf mounts, perhaps.
