Hi, Linc!

If you are doing a stereo pinhole camera, yes, you would need a septum
(a vertical light barrier inside the camera between the left and right
pinholes that extends nearly to the film plane) to keep the left and
right pinhole images from overlapping at the film plane.  Is this what
you meant?  Or did you have another meaning in mind for the word
"septum?"
