Shooting HIE at ASA 800 or 1600?

Hi,

So far I've been shooting all my Kodak HIE at ASA 200, 1/125th, metered
through a red filter. Generally in good outdoor light. Now I'd like to
experiment with infrared indoors, at concerts. One of my hobbies is
shooting concert photos (when I can get close to the stage). In the past
I've used my Minolta with a 58mm f1.4 lens, with either 800 or 1600 speed
film. Has anyone tried this type of photography in infrared? Is there
enough infrared light produced from the stage lighting to make interesting
IR photos? Can HIE be pushed that fast?

Any suggestions on what to tell the lab when getting it developed?

Thanks,

Henry
