Someone got fed up with it jamming up the advance
perhaps :)
You should probably be okay. The advance knob
spring keeps that side from turning backwards.
The supply spool spring and friction in the film
path should keep the film from loosening up.
The only minor concern is at the end of a roll
when you open the door. The film/leader on the
spool might unravel a bit. But in subdued light
I don't think it could get loose enough to fog
the film.
