Double achromat viewer & superslides

Hi gang,

I'm now the proud owner of the ugliest
41x101, 2x2x2, superslide viewer in the world.
I finished up my fixed focus, fixed interocular
double achromat (36x94mm which gives 36x50mm)
viewer last night.

Like Alan Lewis's lovely creation mine uses
the Franka 41x101 and 2x2x2 adapters. But mine
is in a black plastic Radio Shack project box
that had been previously used (extra holes in
various places). But it works and now I can't
wait to get my Boris S. computer generated slides.

I'm also thinking about mounting up some MF
slides in the superslide mounts. I have a box
of the GEPE ones from Joel. Has anyone done this
without a superslide cutter? Is it easy enough
to cut accurately so you can set the stereo window
and get them vertically aligned?

Someone on the list (Chauncey maybe) said they
had a Mamiya superslide cutter. How does it work?
Is it made for cutting 120 film down (which means
it has vertical movement) or is it made for cutting
127 film?

Thanks - Greg
