PHOTO-3D Usenet Groups

I think Photo-3d should be planning for the creation of one or more
usenet newsgroups to resolve some of the size and interests issues
being discussed. Eventually someone will probably start a 3D usenet
group again anyway, but it would be nice if it didn't turn out like
alt.3d did.

The last time creating a newsgroup was discussed, I recall much concern
about losing the character and gentility of the Photo-3d list, but perhaps
somehow the list could be kept as an adjunct to the newsgroup or groups.
