This suggestion may already have been made--I'm about four digests 
behind.  The LIFE LIKE viewer has separate lens barrels that extend 
about an inch beyond the main body.  It should be good for deep-set 
sockets.  The lenses are not achromats, though, so some distortion is 
present.  The box this viewer came in says that its name is LIKE 
LIFE, but don't believe it.
