P3D John Baird, hyper
After much sound and fury and splintering of electrons, I can post
from my nightstand computer again!
I talked to John Baird tonight and the conversation seemed to center
on hyper shots, which I've been wanting to try. He was talking about
a show he saw by a guy who had a Nikon with a modified beamsplitter
and took hyper shots with it. I said I had been wanting to do hyper
shots from the Blue Ridge Parkway. I asked him about Kansas City
Union Station. I was there many years ago, and climbed the hill
to the memorial park above. I took a picture of the station. I
wish I had known to do a hyper shot with my Pocket Instamatic 60
(Kodachrome 64), or had some better stereo rig. I can't even
find the slide now. :-( But I'll never forget the view from up there.
He said there was about a 200-foot promenade, ideal for hyper.
