Hi there,
I have a Nikon APS and a cheapo earthlink digital camera, both of which have
pathetic flashes too. For $20 on ebay I picked up a Konica slave flash
attachment that you screw onto the camera base. Its sensor will fire my
Vivitar 283 right with the camera flash....provided the red-eye reduction is
not on, of course. It also has a pc synch jack, so if I ever buy a Kodak
stereo I figure I can use it there, too. So for about $20 plus shipping,
you can get more out of those cameras with the lousy onboard flashes.
Best regards,
Mike Galazin
